Hannes & Claudiu Rosso is a vibrant natural red wine made exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes grown in the Pfalz region of Germany. The grapes undergo a gentle, whole-bunch maceration for around 14 days, followed by native yeast fermentation in used oak barrels. This approach preserves the wine’s bright red fruit flavors and fresh acidity, while a soft layer of tannins adds a delicate structure. Aging in oak imparts extra nuance without overshadowing its lively character. Serve it slightly chilled, and you’ll find it just as delightful on its own as it is alongside lighter meals—think grilled chicken, roasted vegetables, or a simple mushroom risotto.
