Biancospino by Fonterenza is a traditional white wine that reflects the old farming practices of Tuscany. Made mainly from Trebbiano, along with small amounts of Ravanese and Procanico, it comes from vines that are around 60 years old, growing in clay and volcanic soils near Montalcino. The wine undergoes a long maceration on the skins—30 days—which is a method once common among local farmers. This technique gives the wine more depth and character.

Fermented with native yeasts and aged for up to 20 months in oak barrels and steel tanks, Biancospino offers subtle notes of gentian, orange, and elderflower. On the palate, it has a fine tannic texture and a delicate salty finish that invites another sip. It’s a white wine with an authentic and rustic personality, true to its Tuscan roots.
