Ancestral Pampaneo Airén

Pampaneo Ancestral Airén is a natural sparkling wine from Toledo, made entirely from Airén, a traditional Spanish grape that can show real character when handled with care. The grapes come from very old vines rooted in sandy-calcareous soils in the hot interior of Castilla-La Mancha. The vineyards are farmed organically, without irrigation, chemical treatments or heavy mechanisation.

It is made by the ancestral method: fermentation starts with native yeasts, and the wine is bottled before it finishes, so the bubbles form naturally inside the bottle. It is sold without disgorgement, which can give it a lightly cloudy look and a more direct, lively feel. Expect fresh white fruit, gentle herbal notes, fine bubbles and a crisp finish. Serve well chilled with seafood, white fish, aperitifs, or simply when you want a sparkling wine with a more natural, rustic side.
