Palo Blanco by Envínate is a distinctive white wine from the volcanic soils of Tenerife, Canary Islands. Made entirely from Listán Blanco grapes harvested from century-old braided vines (cordón trenzado), grown at high altitudes of 500-850 meters, this wine truly reflects its unique terroir.
The grapes undergo a traditional winemaking process: hand-picked, whole-cluster pressed, and naturally fermented in concrete tanks without temperature control, preserving purity and freshness. Uniquely, Palo Blanco skips malolactic fermentation, retaining crisp acidity. It matures for 10-12 months in large oak foudres, enhancing its depth and subtle complexity, yet is bottled unfiltered and unfined, respecting its authentic expression.
With pronounced Atlantic influence, Palo Blanco reveals mineral and saline notes reminiscent of wet stone, combined harmoniously with fresh fruit aromas, floral hints, and delicate herbal touches. Easy to drink yet concentrated and balanced, it pairs wonderfully with seafood, fish dishes, creamy cheeses, or rice-based meals, making it an excellent choice for diverse dining experiences.
