Côtes à Côtes from Domaine de la Touraize is a red wine from Arbois, crafted with a blend of Trousseau and Pinot Noir. Grown on two distinct soils—gravelly marl for Trousseau and grey marl for Pinot Noir—each grape brings its own personality. The vineyard is cultivated using organic and biodynamic practices, without synthetic pesticides or herbicides, and only minimal sulfur is used during winemaking.
The wine is co-fermented using native yeasts, aged in large oak foudres for 18 months, and bottled without fining or filtration. It offers a fresh and juicy profile with vibrant red fruit and a touch of spice, making it a great companion for grilled meats, terrines, or even a mushroom risotto.
