Ploussard "Côte de Feule" from Domaine de la Borde is a natural red wine coming from the picturesque Arbois Pupillin region in Jura, France. This wine is crafted entirely from organically and biodynamically farmed Ploussard grapes grown on steep slopes with deep red marl soils dating back to the Triassic period. The vines, averaging 40 years old, thrive at an altitude of 350 meters.

Fermentation occurs spontaneously through low-intervention techniques, with a gentle semi-carbonic maceration lasting about 20 days. Aging takes place for 10 months in traditional large oak barrels, known as foudres, preserving the authentic character of the grape. The wine is bottled unfiltered and unfined, with no added sulphites.

Expect a delightful balance of freshness and subtle complexity, featuring notes of wild strawberries, cranberries, earthy undertones, liquorice, and hints of white pepper. This approachable yet elegant wine pairs perfectly with starters, smoked pork, roast meats, or BBQ dishes. Enjoy slightly chilled for the best experience.
