Made from 100 % Montepulciano grown on limestone terraces 500 m above the Adriatic, Luna Calmante Rosato captures the salt-tinged air of Rocca San Giovanni. Whole bunches ferment with native yeasts in a six-day carbonic maceration, then rest in steel before bottling without fining, filtration, or added sulphur. The result is a light, sapid rosé that opens with crunchy red berries, violet, and a gentle hint of anise. A faint tannic touch gives structure, while lively acidity and coastal minerality keep each sip refreshing. Enjoy it cool alongside white meats, grilled vegetables, pizza, or spiced Asian dishes, and let its easy charm brighten an aperitivo.
