This 100% Garnacha from Celler Comalats is as vibrant as it is approachable. For centuries, the Bonet family has tended vines in Lleida, passing down their commitment to organic farming through generations. Today, siblings Eloi and Eva craft Alosa with minimal intervention, allowing the grapes to shine in all their juicy glory.
A short 24-hour maceration lends the wine a translucent ruby hue and gently accentuates red fruit flavors like raspberry and strawberry. There’s a pleasing brightness on the palate, with a hint of saline that keeps each sip lively. A small portion of grapes are pressed directly, contributing to a softer body and pure, unfiltered clarity in the glass.
