This Sauvignon Blanc from Clos du Tue-Boeuf represents a unique fusion of French winemaking and Georgian traditions. The wine ferments and ages in qvevri - traditional Georgian terracotta vessels. The estate itself carries centuries of history, with its wines once gracing royal tables in the Middle Ages. Current owners, the Puzelat brothers, maintain this legacy while embracing organic practices since 1996. The grapes undergo four weeks of skin contact in qvevri, followed by eight months of aging, resulting in an expressive white wine.
