Château Lafitte Sec is a dry white wine made from Gros Manseng and Petit Manseng, grown in the Jurançon region at the foot of the Pyrenees. The vines are farmed biodynamically with Demeter certification, and surrounded by rich biodiversity—fruit trees, cereals, sheep, and bees—that help create a natural balance in the vineyard.
Harvested by hand in October, the grapes undergo gentle pressing and ferment spontaneously with native yeasts in 500-liter oak barrels. The wine then matures for 9 months on fine lees, adding depth and texture.
This wine combines freshness with roundness and subtle notes of toasted bread and candied fruit. It pairs beautifully with seafood, sheep’s cheese, or cured ham.
