Tinaha Tinto Ecológico is an organic red wine made from Monastrell on the north side of Sierra de la Pila in Murcia. The grapes come from 40-year-old bush vines grown without irrigation on limestone soils, giving the wine a fresh and direct character.

It is made in a very hands-off way: the wine ferments and ages for seven months in handmade clay tinajas from Murcia, with no wood, no filtering, and no major adjustments. The grapes are picked in two stages, one earlier for freshness and one later for softer tannins.

In the glass, it shows red fruit, floral notes, balsamic touches and a mineral hint of graphite. It is dry, fresh and easy to drink, with firm tannins and a long finish. A good match for white or red meats, stews and semi-cured cheeses.
