La Gloria is a natural sparkling orange wine made from Palomino grown in Pago Balbaína, one of the historic vineyard areas of Jerez. The grapes come from vines over 80 years old, planted on albariza, the white chalky soil that helps give many Jerez wines their clear mineral line.
The wine is made with whole clusters, gently foot-trodden, then left with the skins for seven days. This gives it more texture and a light orange-wine character, while fermentation with native yeasts keeps the expression direct and natural. After that, it rests in bottle on its lees, adding a soft, cloudy depth to the bubbles.
A small-format wine with a strong sense of place: Palomino, Jerez soil, skin contact, and a fresh sparkling edge.
