Lo Far Oest is an uncommon red wine crafted from three Garnacha varieties—Vernatxa Gris, Vernatxa Blanc, and Vernatxa Negre—grown organically in clay-limestone soils under the Mediterranean climate of Terra Alta. After a short, two-day maceration, the grapes are gently trodden by foot, then fermented with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks. The wine is bottled without fining, filtering, or added sulfur, preserving its genuine character. Despite being labeled a red, its high proportion of Vernatxa Gris and Blanc gives it a lighter hue and a fresh, vibrant expression. Expect a smooth texture with subtle hints of fruit and gentle herbal notes, making it approachable for a wide range of palates. Thanks to its clean, natural finish, Lo Far Oest can be served slightly chilled, offering an easygoing yet memorable tasting experience.
