Christophe Guittet - Vinoceros

Vinoceros

Vinocéros is the project of winemaker Christophe Guittet in southern France (Occitanie/Languedoc-Roussillon). He started the label in 2014 to share good wine while respecting nature.

Christophe works as an artisan vinifier. Instead of owning a large estate, he sources only organic grapes from a small network of growers—six domains across the region—paid at fair prices. This lets him choose the best fruit each year and keep close to his values of respect for the planet and for farmers.

In the cellar, the aim is clarity and drinkability. Fermentations are typically with native yeasts, aging is simple (often stainless steel), and bottling is done with low sulfites—just enough to protect the wine. The result is clean, lively bottles made with a light touch.

Vinocéros celebrates local Mediterranean grapes. Expect reds built on Grenache, Carignan, and Syrah, and whites from Grenache Blanc, Macabeu, Muscat, and other regional varieties. There are occasional skin-contact and sparkling cuvées, too. Labels you might see include VinoCrouge, Bulloféroce, Orange, and Eden.

Behind the playful names is a simple motivation: wine should be about taste and sharing, made in a way that protects land, growers, and drinkers alike. If you’re curious about approachable natural wines from the South of France, Vinocéros offers an easy entry point—honest fruit, clear flavors, and a human story in every bottle.
