Vi Ranci from Dasca Vives is a unique, traditional wine produced in Tarragona, Catalonia. Made exclusively from Macabeo grapes, this naturally oxidized wine is crafted using the solera method—a special aging process where wines from multiple vintages are blended. Remarkably, this particular Vi Ranci includes wines aged up to 50 years, having spent at least 12 years maturing through the solera system.
The result is a distinctive wine reminiscent of oloroso sherry, characterized by nutty flavors and a subtle sweetness balanced by a pronounced dryness.
