Grown on clay-loam soils, it shows a clear mineral side, with notes of citrus, fresh acidity and a light salty finish.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eUnlike the more oxidative style sometimes found in the Jura, Léon is made in a topped-up way, giving a cleaner and more direct expression of Chardonnay. The grapes are directly pressed, fermented with native yeasts and aged for 18 months in large used barrels.
