This Chinuri white wine from Kartli, Georgia, is produced by Iago Bitarishvili, one of the pioneers who helped revive traditional Qvevri winemaking in the country. The wine is made using clay vessels (Qvevri) buried in the ground - a method recognized by UNESCO as cultural heritage. Following his grandfather's techniques, Iago creates this wine from Chinuri grapes with six months of skin contact, resulting in an orange wine with notes of dried fruits and herbs. The winery maintains organic practices, though it no longer seeks certification.
