Maria Pettena by Cantina Sannas is a distinctive rosé from the heart of Sardinia, uniquely crafted from Cannonau grapes, with an interesting twist: it macerates for 40 days on skins of Granazza, a rare native white grape. This unusual blend provides the wine's cherry-pink color and enhances its character. Fermented naturally without added yeasts and aged gently in old wooden barrels, Maria Pettena maintains purity, freshness, and authentic flavors. Expect clear aromas of cherry, wild strawberry, and gentle floral hints. On the palate, it’s fresh, juicy, and full-bodied, with an enjoyable balance. Ideal with vegetable pasta dishes, starters, and semi-aged cheeses.
